Taste of Egypt

This is not the best scan as there should be an even white surround to the beige background but I had to get the card in the post so imagine the scene if you will and perhaps also the punctuation in this sentence.
I have use the Judikins Egyptian cube and stamped with Memento Cottage Ivy onto some beige bazzill cardstock.
The main image has been made from a few layers of UTEE and a few layers of gold embossing powder which I have then stamped into. It's been matted onto green and gold card from my scrap bags and then stuck over the mesh and a few brads to finish it off.
The sentiment came from Craftwork Cards some time ago

Main image is by Stampin up, papers are dovecraft, the cardstock and sentiment are from Craftwork Cards and the brad and ribbon are from my collection.

Card number 2

I made this card on Sunday for one of the many nephews we have between us.
I have used the Safari cube by Judikins for the main image and the background. It has been coloured with Promarkers and I have used various colours of memento inks throughout.
The greeting is a rub on by pebbles inc and I think that all the card has come from Craftwork Cards at some time

Happy Yorkshire Day

Crikey 3 weeks since I posted and to be honest I have only made 2 cards in those 3 weeks.
I have made this card using the sketch from the Lili of the Valley challenge but didn't have a stamp that fitted so fell back on this old favourite from Sarah Kay. Papers are also soome of my favourite from Basic Grey, the Lily Kate collection, flowers have been resting in my collection for some time, the ribbon is from the same place but has not lingered as long, and the brads are by Making Memories with stickles added for a bit of a lift.
Sentiment stamp is by Denami.
